mascot
mascot was about  malcom x the setting was in michigan lansing .this was after the slaves had been set free but the white race still talked about the black race as if they did not understand. it talks about the way malcom x worked his way tto the top of his class and moved to boston and latter started to fight for civil rights for the black race malcom x latter changed to a muslim and was killed.

night john was about a slave named john who had escaped from the south to the north . this was the time the north accepted the black people. night john knew how to read and write so he wanted to come back south to teach little children how to read and write but when he was coming back the slave owners caught him and he was transfered to a farm wwhere he started to teach sally to read and write so that she can write how they treated slaves in the south

al thre stories talk about how black people were treated and what they did to try and improve this condition . int the great debators willy college debate team travel around the country debating with other colleges about civil rights matters henry ,samantha.and jr.farmer are the debators mr tolson is their teacher . in all three scenes the black people try to be equal and are not treayed equal.most of them are in the south.

This week i decided to post one of my poems ,i try to write maybe you guys can judje it . apart from that am just waiting for christmas to come have a good week guys.

Am sitting in this empty church

In ma mind I got a swollen patch

In my mouth I got a whole verse

Am sitting on this empty seats

Wondering why I should be

What people expect me to be

But if people don’t like my personality

Then they think I am a beast

Roaming this night streets

I close my eyes but my vision is still bleached

I open my mouth but my words are still transfixed

My mind jumps from one fairytale to the next story

One loss to the next glory

My past is a path I left cold

My present is a road am trying to endorse

My future is a story yet to be told

So I still try to keep up with the doves

I fight back and keep my head above

One night you might turn your head and see my name with the moon and the stars

hey world last week was long all the people waiting for thanksgiving.so i have not too much to say....................................good luck and have happy thanksgiving hahahahahahaha.........................

hye world philip here,this week was nice and fast the mockingbird play was good but they skip alot of things like miss maudies house burning ,i would like to see how they would put that . the other thing was 12 angry men it was funny and complicated alittle but i liked it. its amazing that from when this quater started i have done all my blogs hahahaha, i hope this time am going to get a higher grade on english anyway i hope the next week will be better than the previous one goodluck all have a nice week.

I think the ending of 12 angry men was well thought of but the people twisted the facts way to much to get a correct verdict , there was so much disscussion anyone would have been easiliy been persuaded that he was not guilty , they should have made there verdict from the evidence given at the very begining of the trial to go by if they went by that it would have saved time and also people did not have a reaosnable doubt that the kid was guilty , and no matter how you look at it, the boy was proved gulty by a variety of facts and witnesses that it just cant be ignored and cannot be excused by examination of the jurors , that is the lawyers job , if the lawyer doesnt do a good job then its the lawyers fault if the kid gets guilty , it shouldnt be a strain on the jurors head that the kid could be killed by electric chair after they discussed it and such. In conclusion , total bull crap they said not guilty , due to the fact they were close examining the evidence when the lawyer should have done that.

the previous week was crazzy but everything is alrite. 12 angry men is the bom i like it because of the different characters in the book. am reading the foremans part and the most thing he wants to do is keep the other jurys in order or to mantain order. the seventh jury is interesting maybe he wanted to go to that game so much but his team lost that would be funny . i think the boy is giulty because the eighth juror convinced me with his "possibiltys" i hope this week will be good hala good week all.

Hey world this week was like no other got in trouble but i solved it. The good thing is that we finished reading how to kill a mockingbird but the end of the book was not how i expected it to be. nothing else was interesting apart from the mockingbird and halloween. i think i deserve an A in english class because i was reading the book everyday the only thing that can fail me is bloging its not hard but most of the time i forget.also in almost all the small quizzes we have taken i have gotten a 19 out of 20. good luck this week everyone

The past week was short and went fast. we are still reading how to kill a mockingbird and its getting more interesting, but am still waiting for boo radley to show outside. not much for this week but its interesting how how atticus was the dead shot guy and he knows how to shoot. I also read chapter 11 and 12 and how jem and scout went to the black peoples church. also they way atticus told jem to go read for mrs Dubose for one month , for jem to see the points and views of another person and after that he totaly changed. The book is getting more and more interesting and i cant wait to read the next chapter. good luck on the next week

hey world this week has been great with no research to worry about . now its time we kill a mockingbird i tried to read that book over the summer but dint get to page 100 not because it was boring but because i was reading two books at the time and the other one was more interesting. But this time am sure i will finish it.At first i thought they were talking about real morking birds but to read further the birds were going to school and the teacher was caroline so now it makes sense that its real people.goodluck to all you this coming week
